Bristol Blogger Meet

On Saturday I attended a Bristol Blogger meet up held at Frankie & Benny's in Cabot Circus. Once we arrived we met the lovely organisers Alessia from Whispers from Angels and Sasha from Ramblings of a Beauty Bird.

As I didn't have time for a proper breakfast in the morning (always rushing!) I decided to opt for a yummy cooked breakfast at F&B's. After food we all had a good natter before heading off for some retail therapy and I got to meet a few new bloggers to add to my reading list!

Alessia warned us that the goodie bags were heavy and boy she wasn't kidding, what an awesome goodie bag! I had a good old rummage when I got home and I'm looking forward to trying it all out. Everyone was particularly excited to find Benefit Fine One One among the treasures and I think the little Head Full of Feathers hair accessory is so cute!

I had a lovely time and I want to say a big thank you to Alessia and Sasha for organising such a fun event!

Lunch Time Shopping

I was browsing the new in's on boohoo.com whilst on my lunch break and was instantly drawn to this dress. At only £18 I couldn't resist and it's winging it's way to me in the post right now! I'm interested to see what the print looks like in real life and I do love a good dip hem skirt :)

Music - George Ezra

Almost a fortnight ago I headed out to The Gallimaufry on Gloucester Road to hear some live music in the form of local Bristol artist George Ezra. I first came across George Ezra supporting Beth Rowley in Hall 2 of the Colston Hall last summer and as soon as he began to sing my friend and I just looked at each other and we knew we'd be seeing him again. Then on a trip to see Rae Morris play in Bath, who do we find supporting once again? George Ezra ofcourse! So by then I was hooked and when I heard he was playing a free gig at The Gallimaufry I knew I'd have to go along. On the night there was also music from Robin Mitchell and Noah Villeneuve and I would recommend checking them out aswell. There are plans to hold a fortnightly residency at The Gallimaufry so I wanted to do a little post to spread the word.

One of my favourite songs is called Did You Hear The Rain? and this was one of a few songs recorded for BBC Introducing West at Maida Vale. I've included the YouTube video below for your viewing pleasure.

So if your looking to discover some new music head on over to Gloucester Road on the 13th February, I highly recommend you check it out and I might see you there :)

Minnie's Boutique Pop-Up Shop in Cabot Circus

If you're heading in to Cabot Circus this weekend make sure you make time to check out the Minnie's Boutique Pop-Up Shop. The store is located near the Starbucks in Cabot Circus and will be open this weekend only (2nd - 3rd Feb). I went along to the VIP opening last night and got to check out the store and even got to meet Sam & Billie Faiers who were just lovely and really chatty. I'm a fan of TOWIE so was super pleased to find the girls were as lovely as I'd hoped!

Billie - Jumper: Reverse. Sam - Sweater: Sugarhill Boutique.
Skirt: AX Paris £25

We had a browse of the rails and I couldn't resist this AX Paris skirt.

Jacket: Zara - Dress: Mango
We were treated to yummy sweets, cupcakes, and fizz!

In store you can find some great brands including AX Paris, MinkPink, Evil Twin and Voodoo Girl Couture and if you can't get down to the store this weekend you can check out the online store.

On our way out we we're given a goodie bag containing a Minnie's diary, a cookie (more sweet treats!), a lipgloss and some fake tan!

I would definitely recommend you check out the store this weekend and hey, it's payday weekend, why not treat yourself?!
